in the exhibition moniquevanheist makes parallels between her work and the collection of the zeeuws museum and its cultural heritage. In the exhibition new work will is shown:

During amsterdam fashion week in january 2010 bas kosters studio awarded moniquevanheist with the anti fashion award - label. Thank you bas!
In spring 2012 moniquevanheist will be the curator of an exhibition about workwear in the schielandhuis, rotterdam, the netherlands. moniquevanheist will keep you updated!
At Tranoï women, MONIQUEVANHEIST will launch 16 new products (nr 23-38) that will be part of the hellofashion collection. The products vary from a sexy jumpsuit named Samantha to a tunic dress with an oversized pocket and from a piece of key-jewellery to the recipe for a fantastic meatball. Along with the new items, 16 new supplements for the hellofashion catalogue will appear.

EXCLUSIEVE PREVIEW IN BIJENKORF AMSTERDAM
Als onderdeel van de Incubator Award die Monique van Heist gelijktijdig won met de Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Award en de Dutch Fashion Media Award in November 2008, is een preview van hellofashion van 9 tot en met 30 Mei 2009 voor het publiek te koop in de Bijenkorf Amsterdam. Tevens is van 11 mei tot en met 24 mei in de hoeketalage op de Dam hellofashion te zien!
Monique van Heist is the third designer to work with Co-Lab. Her predecessors are: Francisco van Benthum and Kentroy Yearwood from Intoxica. Monique van Heist will be present at the press conference initiated by Co-Lab on the 13th of March in Amsterdam.
Co-Lab is a laboratory for fashion and strategy and was established in 2006 by Guus Beumer and Gert Staal. Its daily operations are run by Christophe Mollet, a fashion consultant who has worked for Martin Margiela, Diesel and AF Vandevorst. Co-Lab foundation has the ambition to create a house of fashion that will interlink fashion, management, strategy and finance. Co-Lab puts its focus on the managerial, financial, operational and legal aspects of the fashion business.
on november 7, 2008 moniquevanheist was the big winner of the mercedes benz dutch fashion award, the dutch media award and the incubator award!
at the awardnight moniquevanheist presented a preview of the hello fashion-project, including among others the ultimate partydress, patrick the starshaped suit and no. 5 of a series of shirts.

from half may 2009 new pieces of moniquevanheists’ hello fashion-project will be launched and sold at de bijenkorf in rotterdam, amsterdam and den haag.
the dutch media award includes a co-operation with club brillant and sama-eyewear in los angeles. all parties are working on the introduction of a small collection of moniquevanheist-sunglasses, with a launch planned at the next mercedes benz dutch fashion awards in november 2009. moniquevanheist will keep you informed!

in september 2008 moniquevanheist will be part of the exhibition ‘bridges to fashion’,
at ‘het schielandhuis’ in rotterdam, the netherlands.
the exhibition will put the spotlight on the cultural differences and resemblances between turkish and dutch fashion designers, and will be put in a film-like set up, with street images of both istanbul and rotterdam, but also the designers’ work and images of their studios.
in the exhibition 10 dutch and 10 turkish fashion designers will participate.

moniquevanheist is currently participating in the project ‘caneaux de la mode’, initiated by celine charlot and mariel vieira.
aim of the project is to set up special co-operations between a selected group of dutch fashion designers and french exclusive craftsmen.
for this project moniquevanheist is working with séverina lartigue, who is specialized in flower making and works among others for chanel haute couture.
presentations will be both in paris and amsterdam, in november 2008

in march 2009 ‘het zuiderzeemuseum’ at enkhuizen, the netherlands, will open a big fashion exhibition called ‘gejaagd door de wind’.
moniquevanheist is invited to be part of this exhibition and will show new pieces.
‘gejaagd door de wind’ is curated by dutch fashion designers alexander van slobbe and francisco van benthum. they invited over 50 dutch designers, stylists, illustrators and photographers to give their input on the rich culture of dutch fashion and design.

a package of products, advice and good ideas for both men and women.
all products will be available for an indefinite period of time.
over the upcoming years, the package will be expanded season by season.
